DP1, Convert Raw to Jpeg.

I took the visitor from Fukushima to the garden of wind.

It is located near the new furano prince hotel. It is a considerably vast garden. There are some small fields of many kinds of flowers and you can see a small wooden house surrounded by flower fields if you walk through the garden. A small ponds ,above which big dragonflies are flattering in the autumn, is there near the small house. All these will relax you well.

Thanks.

The Asahikawa station have been under reconstruction.  Interior work has finished last year and exterior work is now ongoing. It will, I think, finish around the end of the year.

The festival of food in Asahikawa had been held at the day I took the photos (17, Sep). Many people were gathering at the Heiwa street where many kinds of street stalls were opend.

It is getting cold recently in Asahikawa, and please be careful of your health if you are going to visit Asahikawa.

Thanks!

Tenkin (天金)

Tenkin is a ramen shop that is located near the asahikawa station ( about 15 min by walk). The shyoyu- ramen is my favorite ramen of tenkin.

Today at noon, Tenkin was most crowded that I have ever experienced before, and I waited for a long time to enter Tenkin. It might be because the festival of food has been held now in asahikawa and many pepole are gathering around the asahikawa station.

Anyway, today’s ramen is also delicious.

Thanks!

The Nakadake Onsen

We climbed to the nakadake onsen, which is located halfway up Mt. Naka (中岳, Naka-dake), on 10 sep., 2011.

The nakadake onsen is located in the northern part of the Daisetsu national park and is easily reached from Asahidake onsen via Asahidake ropeway. It is a natural hot spring. Someone has dug a small hole for making a natural bathtub in the ground and you can take a bath there. (And at the same time you have to watch out brown bears.)

We arrived at the station of asahidake ropeway at 7:30 A.M.. About 10 min by ropeway, we arrived at the station of Sugatami pond which is a start of climbing. It was so heavy misty day that we could not see mountains around us.

Although we had to climb on such a rainy and misty day, we could easily reach at the nakadake onsen  because the climbing road is well maintained.

It took 5 hours for us to go up and down the nakadake onsen.

We went home after taking a bath at the Yukomanso (湧駒荘).

Thanks!
