We climbed Mt. Akadake on 30 July, 2011. Mt. Akadake (赤岳 Aka-dake) belongs to the Daisetsuzan volcano group (大雪山 Daisetsuzan).
We waked up on the early morning (AM 5:00) and leave for the mountain by car. At 7:00, we arrived the Ginsen-dai, where we would start the climbing.
The Ginsen-dai, much known about the place where colored leaves are so beautiful in Autumn.
From there to the top of the mountain, we got across several snow pathces. The breeze was so cold there on the snow pathc that our hotting body was cooled down.
The climbing road was well maintained through the climbing.
After returning to the Ginsen-dai, we drove to the near hot spring for taking a rest.
